Information for New Clients:
Plan to bring in any medical history that you have on your pet when you come for your first visit. This allows our doctors to review your pet's previous medical conditions and treatments and to ensure that your pet is current on preventative healthcare guidelines, such as vaccinations, parasite prevention, etc.
Upon arrival to the hospital you will be greeted and checked in by one of receptionists. At this point they will likely have you fill out our New Patient Registration Form. If you would like to complete this form prior to your first appointment, follow the link below to download the form. Simply print it out, fill in the required information, and bring it with you to your appointment. For the safety of all of our patients and clients, we require that all pets be either kept on a short leash or inside a carrier while in the waiting area.
When it is time for your pet's appointment, you and your pet will be brought into one of our 3 private exam rooms. Depending on the nature of your visit you will either first be seen by a registered veterinary technician or by one of our veterinarians. There will also be a veterinary assistant in the room who is trained on animal handling and restraint. Due to safety and liability concerns for all involved, we do ask that you allow the veterinary team to restrain and handle your pet during all appointments.
